- This week's objective:Test the scale model 1.
- We continued to construct our small scale model of the apparatus, including the K’Nex foundation for the water wheel and the Archimedes screw pump. We proceeded to test the completed Archimedes screw pump in water and its reliability with the water wheel.
- Upon testing, we determined that the funnel piece was too distant from the screw pump, which caused not enough water to flow into the water wheel. We determined that it may be more efficient to just use a funnel, rather than the piece we printed. We hope to test this next week.
